Make sure to tick keep Files and Apps
If your hardware is not supported eg TPM Secure Boot ect, monthly updates might work fine.
However yearly feature updates will fail to install if hardware requirements are not met.
Microsoft does not recommend this method for unsupported hardware.
If you have unsupported hardware the best way forward is
Upgrade Windows 10 Home, Pro, etc editions to Windows 11 IoT Enterprise (GAC/LTSC) 2024.
You can keep your files and apps.
Windows 11 IoT Enterprise does not require TPM Secure Boot ect.
